A Martian's Guide to Fourteen Loving Acts for Any Day of the Year
By John Gray
Too often, men focus on the big acts of love and forget the small ones that for women count every bit as much. Generally women naturally exchange simple, thoughtful acts of kindness. Men on the other hand, ignore the small simple acts, and aim high. But they let countless opportunities to show how much they care simply slip away. What men generally don't know is that for women, every act of love scores the same one point. Be it small or large, points for love are all the same. By their nature men tend to think in grand terms and this often takes them down the wrong path. Here are fourteen loving acts good for Valentine's Day or any day of the year that a man can do which all say, "I'm so happy that we share our lives." (Final 7 today. First 7 were yesterday. Jim) 8. Make a date to meet her for lunch. Again this is something you would have done when courting. Don't forget the importance of romance just because you have already committed to sharing your lives together. 9. Take a vacation photo that the two of you like and put it in a frame. Give it to her with a bow on the corner of the frame. 10. When she's had a long day, make her a bubble bath. Guys, be sure to clean the tub first, if needed, and don't get into the tub unless invited! 11. If she makes dinner, show your appreciation by setting the table. 12. Surprise her by taking her for a drive to a spot you both love. 13. Talk with her about starting a savings plan so that dream trip you've been talking about for a very long time can finally become a reality. 14. Leave a little love note under her pillow on a day when you have to leave for an early meeting. It can say something short and sweet like this, "I just wanted to let you know that all day I'll be thinking about you and looking forward to when we are back in each other's arms. I love you!" _____________________________________________________
God bless your marriage and family.
