Summary of this article
I think this is very helpful advice. Women (some, not all of course) have a romantic notion from the media that "if he really loved me, he'd read my mind and happily do what I desire." Real life doesn't work that way and men have a totally different way of setting priorities. They may not do it on her time schedule. Mark Gungor has a funny way of putting it. You Have to Ask Him More than Once By Mark Gungor Women, if you want your husband to do things for you, you have to ask him - AND, you have to ask him more than once. Asking a man to do something once is like never having asked him to do anything at all. One day I was listening to a relationship expert as he told of how women do not like to ask more than once. I had a difficult time believing what he was saying since my personal experience was nothing like that. My wife has no problem asking me to do something more than one time. Since then I have spoken to many women about whether they ask their husbands to do something more than once and their answer is always the same - "I shouldn't have to!?" But, ladies, let me give you some critical advice: If you want to get your husbands to do things for you - despite what you think, YOU HAVE TO!! You have to ask him to do things more than once. To sit and stew and get angrier and angrier over the fact that you asked your husband to do something one time, and he didn't do what you asked, is a testament that you have not heard this advice. You need to ask him again.
