Women Have Greater Capacity for Joy, Delight, and Fulfillment By Jim Stephens based on John Gray: Why Mars and Venus Collide Women have a larger and deeper limbic system in their brains than men. The limbic system is the hypothalamus, hippocampus, and amygdala. It is the seat of emotion and motivation. Therefore a woman is most likely much more in touch with her feelings. This part of her brain allows a woman to have an increased ability to bond with others and feel a strong connection to them. It also can leave women more susceptible to depression. A woman's brain is capable of feeling a much greater degree of fulfillment than a man. However she must be provided with loving support and her body needs to be nourished by healthy ingredients. This is one of the reasons that men are so drawn to women. Women have an enormous capacity for joy, delight, and fulfillment.
Men get to glow in the feeling of great accomplish in making a difference in her life. When the woman appreciates what the man offers her and does for her, the man feels his greatest fulfillment. This in turn helps her find greater peace deep in her soul. Men easily forget the good things that they may have done, but women's brains have such a strong emotional memory that when they are remembering all the good things he has done, then they can serve up reminders that restore his vitality and motivation. For a man, being praised by a woman he admires lifts him many times higher than the same praise from another man. Seeing the joy and delight that he has created in a woman will motivate him to repeat over and over the action that created the joy. _____________________________________________________
