Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Relationship Tips
 
Daily
 
  * Send each other off at the beginning of each day with a hug and greet each other at the end of each work day with a hug.
 
  * Say the words, "I love you," at least once a day.
 
  * Take time to laugh with your partner each day.
 
  * Do not go to bed angry at each other.
 
  * Remember, your partner is not your enemy.
 
Weekly
 
  * Be a student of your partner. Discover what they enjoy and what they don't.
 
  * Take 10 minutes a week to think of how to express love to your partner. Follow through.
 
  * Initiate love making at least one time each week.
 
  * Write a meaningful note to your partner expressing affirmation for a certain aspect of who they are or what they do in the relationship, their job, or the home.
 
Monthly
 
  * Send an e-card, leave a phone message or take a "special treat" to your partner with a card that says, "Just because I love you."
 
  * Plan a fun date.
 
  * Read a book together on intimacy or communication or other topic of common interest. Discuss it to better understand each other.
 
  * Get date suggestions from outside sources to add variety, newness, and interest.
 
Yearly
 
  * Reminisce about the top 5 meaningful experiences of the past year together. (A good anniversary idea.)
 
  * Each of you makes a list of ten things your partner can do to show you their love. Make a commitment to do two things on your partner's list each week.
 
  * Attend a weekend marriage retreat.
 
  * Plan a vacation together for just the two of you - put it on your calendar in ink.
 
  * Make a list of the top 10 reasons you love your partner - share it with them.
